“For the LORD is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” Psalm 100:5
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
As we enter this Thanksgiving season, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. I want you to know what an honor and a profound blessing it is to serve as your new pastor. From the very first Sunday, Andrea, our boys, and I have felt the warmth of your welcome, the kindness of your words, and the generosity of your hearts. Thank you for receiving us with such love. We rejoice that the Lord, in His wise providence, has brought us together for this season of ministry.
I am continually reminded that everything good in the life of a church flows out of the gracious hand of God. His mercy, His goodness, and His steadfast love have carried Lone Hill through many years, and He will continue to carry us forward. Truly, “the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.” We have much to thank Him for.
“the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases…” Lam. 3:22
As your pastor, one of my deepest desires is simply to know you. I want to know your stories, your burdens, your joys, and your hopes in Christ. Because of this, and that Thanksgiving naturally stirs our hearts toward fellowship, I would love for us to take the remainder of the year to linger together a little longer on Sundays.
As we give thanks this season, may our hearts be full of worship to the God who has been unfailingly faithful to Lone Hill Church. And as we look ahead, may we do so with joyful confidence, trusting in His providence, resting in His promises, and anticipating all that Christ will continue to do among us.
May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving!
With thanksgiving for each of you,
Pastor Bj Lopez 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
