Missions

Serving God Through Global Missions

Lone Hill is committed to the simple fact that the Church of Jesus Christ must be a missionary church taking His Gospel to those who have not heard it.

We currently support five missions which seek to carry the Gospel to the world. These missions serve globally, including in Jordan, Alaska, Cambodia, and East Asia.

Each March, we host our annual missions conference, The Great Commission Rally (GCR). We highlight our own missionaries and invite guest speakers. Often our own missionaries report on their work for the Lord and share how the Gospel is being advanced. Check our calendar the first week of March for GCR events and speakers.

Nathan & Christiana Wells

with ACTION Cambodia - Based in Idaho, USA

Nathan and the ACTION Cambodia team have translated many books into Cambodia’s Khmer language. A few of their translation projects are What Is a Healthy Church? by Mark Dever, The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones, The Design for Discipleship Series by the Navigators. Nathan and Christiana also run a Christian blog, PlovPit.com (which means “The True Way”) that gets more than 200,000 views each year.

Nathan’s heart for Cambodia and its people began in 2003 when he arrived in the country, began learning the language and discipling students there. He continued working there for three and a half years. After completing study at Masters Seminary, marrying Christiana, and starting a family in Cambodia, the family relocated to Idaho. They continue to work remotely with the ACTION translation team.
