Leadership & Staff

Meet Our Leadership and Staff

As a non-denominational Bible church, Lone Hill Church is led locally by a council of Elders.

Looking toward the future, our Elders have a vision to see that each member of Lone Hill Church would continuously experience the presence of the Lord: Christ in you, the hope of glory…Christ…in all (Col. 1:27; 3:11). We live for Him as He lives in us. We want everyone here to constantly experience His presence as Savior, friend, deliverer, lover of our souls, and Lord. The Christian leadership at Lone Hill Church is working to equip our congregation to experience His presence both personally and continuously. It is the key to growing and maturing in Christ.

We hope you will come and visit and by the Lord’s leading join us in this great adventure of faith!

Pastoral Leadership

Billy Freels, Interim Minister

We welcome Pastor Billy Freels as our Interim Minister at Lone Hill Church.

He was ordained by Living Grace Community Church in April, 2010. With over 15 years of pastoral experience, we are pleased to have Billy join our Elders in serving and ministering to our Body at Lone Hill. In addition to the years of pastoral experience, he brings a background of communications, Biblical studies, Christian counseling, preaching/homiletics and theology. We are grateful to Pastor Billy for coming alongside our Elders to share in the preaching and teaching.

Dr. Ray Stamps, Pastor Emeritus

Ray Stamps is the former teaching and preaching pastor of Lone Hill Church. After serving faithfully from 1978 to 2021 as Senior Pastor of Lone Hill, he is now serving as an Elder. “Pastor Emeritus” is a title we use to honor Pastor Stamps for his many years of service to the fellowship.

He is a graduate of San Jose Bible College (now William Jessup University, Rocklin, CA), B. A., Pastoral Ministries, Pacific Christian College (now Hope University, Fullerton, CA), B. A. , Christian Humanities, and Fuller Theological Seminary, M. A., Marriage, Child, and Family Counseling, and D. Min. (with M. Div.), Church Growth, Renewal, and Management.

Lone Hill Church Council of Elders

Lone Hill Church is led by a Council of Elders who lead under the Headship of Christ. God’s Word, the Bible, is our guide as we seek the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Council includes three Elders. Each has responded to God’s calling to this vital ministry:

  • Ray Stamps – Ray retired as Senior Pastor in September, 2021, but continues to serve as an Elder.

Dave Baker, Elder

Dave has served as an Elder since 2008.

Brad Mornhinweg, Elder

Brad has served as an Elder since 2019.

The Elders’ Vision Statement

The Elder Council has adopted a vision statement as follows: That each member of Lone Hill would be continuously glorying in Christ and living in His presence through faith, worship, and obedience.” Colossians 1:26-28 reflects this goal of living in the presence of the Lord:

“…has now been manifested to His saints, 27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.”
